Our son treated us to dinner again last week. He got his pay and thought to buy us dinner.
So using our favorite food delivery app, we ordered from this Japanese restaurant called, Mr. Sushi. He’d already ordered from this restaurant before and their hibachi dishes are really good.
And you may know already, if you love Asian cuisine, Asian restaurants usually offer affordable prices with large servings that would really fill your tummy. Well, for me, at least. 🙂
Here are the delicious foods that we enjoyed.
Hibachi Shrimp & Scallop Combo
Hubby decided to go with this seafood combo. We all love seafood over here.
My son and I are Filipino and we came from a city that actually has fish vendors walking the streets, carrying fresh fish in buckets, caught from our city’s bay that very day.
Not only is General Santos City or GenSan considered the “Tuna Capital of the Philippines”, it’s also known as sushi tuna capital of the world.
From hubby’s dinner choice, I had a piece of scallop and it was yum.
Salad
Each Hibachi order also comes with a side. You can choose between a salad, edamame or soup. Hubby chose salad.
Hibachi Vegetarian Tofu
When I saw this tofu hibachi on the menu, I knew it was what I wanted. I love tofu and this was delicious!
Edamame
I’ve had edamame before so I decided to have this side.
Hibachi Chicken
Our son’s choice. He is a huge fan of chicken. He could eat a chicken dish every single day.
Miso Soup
They have a regular soup as one of their sides, but he decided to order miso soup because he prefers the miso.
And there you have it.
My son definitely knows how to treat himself after earning money for his hard work and rewarding Mom and Dad for their efforts. He is just the sweetest.
