It’s December and it’s the last month of my monthly Currently posts for the year. I always have fun doing these posts. And I will continue to do this for years to come.

Currently...(December 2020) Wifey Edition

Here’s a sneak peek of our Christmas tree this year.We always have red in our Christmas decor. It just looks so festive for me with red. This year, I added the black and red ribbon and added a few more red and white ornaments.

Listening…

To…Do they Know it’s Christmas? by Band Aid.

This is definitely my most favorite Christmas song of all. This song just never gets old. I’ve been listening to it multiple times a day lately and I’ll never get tired of listening to it.

Watching…

Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel.

Of course. I even watch them in July so what’s the harm of even more now? 🙂

We also watched one on Netflix a few nights ago, The Christmas Chronicles starring Kurt Russell. Have you seen it? It’s such a great and fun movie to watch. Even the hubs said the movie put him in the Christmas spirit. And last night we watched The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two.

Eating…

Butter cookies.

I love these cookies and we’ve already made it a tradition over here to buy this around Christmastime because I like the fun and festive holiday designs on the tin cans.

Enjoying…

Wrapping gifts.

It’s always enjoyable for me to wrap gifts. I always prefer wrapping boxes and boxes of gifts than just putting them in paper bags. It’s just fun for me and I think it’s more special when you put an effort wrapping it instead of just dumping them in a bag.

Looking Forward To…

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

It may look a little different this year but I’m still excited for us to celebrate it. I can’t wait to see my husband and my son’s faces when they see what gifts I got for them. And I’m going to make my favorite Filipino-style macaroni salad that has always been on my table while growing up.

    Although I know that this Christmas celebration is different from the past I am still excited about celebrating it because that day is not for gifts giving but a day of giving thanks for the gift of life that we still have until this day.
