Like I mentioned in my 2020 Goals post, I don’t do resolutions, but I make a list of goals for the year. And modesty aside, if I would rate my 2020 goals, I would give myself an “A”. Woot!
That’s because I have accomplished a lot and that’s with the help of my husband, of course.
The “A” rating would be for the updates and DIY projects that we did around the house.
When it comes to my personal goals, I got an “F”. LOL. But I’m still going to try my best to be a good girl this year.
So, for my house goals last year, I did everything except for updating the flooring and getting a new dishwasher. But then we’ve also made updates that were actually not included on the list. I’m definitely a happy camper because of all the updates that we did.
So for this year, here are my goals:
House & Home:
- Update the floors
- Get a New Filing Cabinet and Organize the Files
- Stain the Decks
Personal:
At the beginning of 2020, the hubs and I planned to walk at least 10,000 steps a day beginning in the spring. Then the pandemic happened and DIY projects happened so we never got to do the walking. But our son got a new treadmill so now I can do some walking even if it’s cold outside. 🙂
I’m still trying my best to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. And I didn’t read one single book last year. Imagine that? I used to read a lot. But nowadays, it seems like I prefer to spend my free time watching my fave shows or playing my fave app. 😀
So yeah, I failed my personal goals last year. Let’s see how I’m going to do with my personal goals this year.
- Walk at Least 5,000 Steps a Day
- Get Vaccinated
- Travel with my Boys
That’s it!
How about you? Do you make a list of goals for the year, too?

Getting vaccinated is goal one, two and three for everyone. I do not make resolutions either and my goals are few and I just keep doing my best.

It is nice to have goals for the years. It is definitely tiring being stuck at home during the pandemic, and I try to keep myself busy.
