Happy Monday!
How was your Valentine’s Day celebration? I hope it was wonderful and full of love. Ours was a little different this year, but we made sure to make the most of it.
So what did we do on Valentine’s Day? Here you go!
1) Exchanged Heartfelt Gifts

We always do this every year. I love giving gifts and surprising my husband and he feels the same way.
These are the sweet surprises that my husband gave me. He also gave me a necklace. And I also gave him something special….something that he sure did not expect. I didn’t take a picture of it and will leave it to your imagination on what it is. LOL.
2) Surprised Our Son

We never forget to give our son something, too. And it’s always a bunch of chocolates in a heart-shaped box. It never fails to delight him.
3) Talked on the Phone
The hubs had to work so we talked every hour on the phone. We always talk and yet it seems like we never run out of stories to talk about.
4) Wrote Love Notes Online
I love my Anghel wifey so much, not only on Valentine’s Day and Anniversary Day, but on every day of the years we’ve spent together since the first time I said “I LOVE YOU!”‘ But still, Happy Valentine’s Day my special sweet Anghel…MWAAAH!!!
The hubs can be really sneaky and can be really cheesy. I sure did not expect this message that he posted online. I wrote something too, but I’m not as cheesy as him. LOL.
And to explain, the hubs is always using “Anghel” when speaking to me. That’s Tagalog (the Filipino national language) for angel, and the cheesy boy he is has given me that nickname. 🙂
5) Ordered Takeout
Hubby did not get home until after 9:00 o’clock in the evening. But even if he was home, as much as we would love to eat out, we’re not going to take our chances with the pandemic still going on. So we ordered takeout for the three of us at this BBQ restaurant which is perhaps the most famous here in the city. More about our Valentine’s Day dinner on my Foodie Friday post.
And that’s it!
How did you celebrate your Valentine’s Day?
It sounds like you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! That’s awesome. We did as well.
Definitely sounds like an amazing Valentine’s Day, my sister brought me gifts and I made dinner.
These are all wonderful ways to spend Valentine’s Day. It truly is the little things that make all the difference.
I am glad that you were able to celebrate your Valentine’s Day with full of love and sweet thoughts. My family and I decided to celebrate my son’s birthday at home but of course with some friends and families.
Wow! This is such a wonderful sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! I also spent mine with my family!
We just eat at our favorite fast food chain. Yeah it’s not ideal. But we still enjoyed because it’s our favorite. Hehe
Sounds like you had a lovely day. I enjoy getting takeout for special occasions. Cooking takes too much effort lately!
Sounds like a wonderful Valantine’s Day celebration. We had a family dinner and it was beautiful to celebrate our love with our kid.
Sounds like you had a nice time. I worked through it. We had our meal the day before instead as I knew I’d be busy.
I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day. My daughters had a couple friends over for the weekend, so we all celebrated together. I ended up taking my daughters out shopping and got them both some Valentine’s candy too.
This looks like the perfect Valentine’s Day. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day
We ordered take out because we both wanted to take a break from cooking and cleaning
Aww..such a sweet and wonderful Valentine’s Day! We also did the same. Spending Valentine’s with your family is great.
