It’s few more days until spring, but we’ve already been having some spring-like weather here and I couldn’t be any happier. And I know I am not the only one who feels that way.
On this one fine winter day that felt so much like spring, out of the blue, after doing some errands, the hubs took me to this side of the county and had a fun joyride while enjoying beautiful views.
I have never been to this part of the county before and boy, look at what I’ve missed.
Hubby makes this journey a couple of days a week, on his way to his part-time job, and knowing me the way he does, he knew that I would love to see this area.
It has always been my dream to live in the countryside where you have beautiful views of green grass and rolling hills. Far from neighbors, or nosy neighbors, I must say. LOL!
This farm belongs to one of the colleges here. The architecture of the college building which is Tudor style really amazed me. I’ve never seen a school building like it before.
They have this barn with a silo and cows on the field. And did you see the buds on those trees that lined up the road? Spring sure is right around the corner!
Look at those mountains surrounding the area. We live in Western North Carolina and we are surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. But seeing this amazing view is not new to me actually because my hometown of GenSan in the Philippines is surrounded with mountains, too.
I credit the hubs for thinking of having this joyride. It definitely was fun to have that joyride in the countryside.
That sounds like a great road to drive on and when the weather warms up i am ready to go exploring. It is going to warm up this week so I am all for an outdoor excursion.

I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a joy ride and can not wait for restrictions to be lifted so we can drive out of the county.

After a long Winter with so much snow, I am excited to see the sun. Some of the snow has melted and it is looking much better out here.
