Hello, April!
Days sure are flying by for me. The hubs and I were talking last night while we were in bed and I was like, “It seems like we just got out of bed a few hours ago having our coffee and now here we are again, going to sleep.” LOL. And we feel like that almost every day. Anyone else? I even joked that before we know it, it’ll be Christmastime again! 🙂
But the hubs is more than excited because Major League Baseball is back. The Atlanta Braves played on the opening day yesterday and although they lost, he can’t wait to cheer them again. And another thing he’s looking forward to is hitting the golf links to recapture the skills lost while not playing in the pandemic year.
Now it’s time to head on to the recap. Take a look at what you might have missed in the month of March.
All Things Fun
Spring has sprung in our neck of the woods! But even before spring officially began, we were already enjoying some spring-like temps here in North Carolina. But it’s always like that around here which we are grateful for.
One winter day that felt like spring, hubby took me for a joyride in the countryside. He drives that road to work regularly and wanted to show me.
The hubs also did a ‘Currently’ post and I shared things we were looking forward to this spring.
Check all of them on the links below.

I Love Food
I can’t reiterate enough how I love food. It’s always a joy for me to enjoy good food.
Hubby’s birthday is in February but I only got the chance to share his birthday dinner in March and we went Japanese.
Filipino Recipes
I also shared these Filipino recipes last month. They are just some of our favorites. Yum!
A Special Celebration
I already have an adult. It’s still hard to believe that my son is all grown up and is 18 years old! We made sure to give him a fun birthday quarantine-style and he sure had a blast. I still have to share his birthday dinner next week.
Shopping
We updated our home office and got some of the essentials on Amazon. Have you shopped any of those essentials yet?
There you go! The entire March in one post!
It was a wonderful March for us. Here’s hoping April will be the same.

I agree with you on the days flying by so quickly. It is a good and bad thing. I’m hoping summer break will go by slowly. I’m ready to have some fun with my son.
