It’s spring break!
My son, although he is learning remotely, was so looking forward to this day. He can’t wait to relax and have a break from school even just for a week. I am excited for this week as well because at least I can sleep in and not have to wake up early to prepare my son’s breakfast. 🙂
We usually don’t go anywhere for spring break. We save our travels for the summer. It’s always been a staycation for us, but we do make the most of our time. And for this spring break, here are our plans.
1) Spring Clean
The hubs and I have already started spring cleaning our yard, but we still have a lot of things to. We’ll have temps in the 70’s this week so it’ll be perfect to do some yard work. There are leaves galore out there!
2) Plant
We bought a hanging plant last week and I’m going to divide and transplant it. They only had one plant left at the store that I liked so that’s just what I’m going to do.
3) Change the Hanging Basket Coco Liners
We’ve ordered coco liners on Amazon and they’re arriving today. So before I’ll do the potting, I’m going to change them first. And we already have potting soil that we bought last week so this plant lady is so ready to do some work.
4) Clean My Flower Garden and Place Mulch
I already cleaned my flower garden a few weeks back. But there are a few weeds now that need to be pulled. Then after that, the hubs will do the mulching.
5) Get Vaccinated
This is just for the hubs because he is the only one who is eligible for at the moment. But starting April 7, they’ll vaccinate all adults from 16 years old up. So my son and I will put our names on the wish list.
6) Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy the Moment
And once we’re done with all of those things that need to be done, we’re definitely going to just relax and enjoy the rest of the spring break, or our staycation. And we just upgraded our TV so we’re going to enjoy it too.
How about you? What are you up to for spring break?
Happy spring break!

Vaccinate, vaccinate and then all the other things will come together. Spring and Spring break are a great time as long as we are healthy
