How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? Ours has been totally weird. It was like warm today and then chilly the next day. We already had 80’s at the start of spring and then we got back to 50’s. There were even days of temps in the 40’s. Surely, spring hasn’t gotten the memo. But finally, we’re going to have a heat wave this week. 🙂
Anyhoo, time for another Currently post. Love sharing what I’m currently enjoying, etc.
Listening…
To…”Settling Down” by Miranda Lambert
Love this song by Miranda and love the video, too. It’s great to see her with her husband looking so happy together. And they look so good together – both good looking! They visited Asheville a few months ago and it was a delight to find out about how much they enjoyed our mountain culture.
Watching…
Emily in Paris on Netflix.
I remember reading about this a few months back, but didn’t get to watch it until lately. What a fun show to watch! And you gotta love all the outfits that Emily wears. I may not wear those type of outfits or all the colors, but it’s fun watching her looking so fabulous. Such a fashionista!
Eating…
Homemade KFC chicken tenders.
My son cooked these chicken tenders and they were so good. He loves watching cooking videos or shows like me, and being the chicken lover that he is, he followed this video that he came across online. You should give this a try. I don’t have the link to the video but he said it was on YouTube.
Loving…
Ahi tuna steak.
My hometown, GenSan, is the Tuna Capital of not only the Philippines but the entire world as well. Our tuna there are freshly caught from the ocean right off our coastal shores. I may not get the same thing here in the U.S. but I am still happy with this find. And the heart shape was delightful!
Enjoying…
The wild turkey.
We went to this neighborhood one day and saw this turkey just strolling in the yard like he/she was walking in the park. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen a wild turkey, though. A bunch of them visited our yard a few years ago. Wild turkeys are not something that you see commonly back in my hometown so it was fun to see them around here.
Looking Forward To…
Our son’s graduation.
It’s going to be next month and I’m anxious and excited at the same time. He’s graduating high school y’all! 🙂 I’ll be sharing more about it later here on the blog.
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?

Hello, there kabayan! Nice to see you here po. Thank you for sharing a bit about your life. It’s so hot here in the Philippines but it’s starting to rain a bit. Tag-ulan na po. I’ve been to GenSan and I loved it there. Had the freshest whole tuna carved into sashimi. I hope to visit the US, too. Ingat po kayo dyan!

Hello, kabayan! Nice to see you here, too. It’s great to know you loved Gensan and enjoyed the tuna. Missed my hometown. Hopefully, we get to go again soon. You stay safe as well.
Mmm, I know I’d love those chicken tenders. And I need to watch Emily In Paris. I keep hearing about it!
Thanks for sharing a part of your life for us. The turkey reminds me of my hometown in Nigeria. Its so intriguing to see a wild turkey
You’re welcome, Louisa. It was indeed fun to see a wild turkey.
My son just graduated from middle school. That fish piece looks so delicious.
That tuna looks really delicious! I miss having tuna sashimi. It is rare to find good tuna in the metro. Unless of course, I get it fresh from the source – General Santos City!
I enjoyed Emily in Paris too. The chicken tenders look delicious. We had some too hot weather (by my standards) last week, but thankfully, it has cooled down again.
Currently enjoying the amazing weather we’ve been having. Congratulations to your son on his graduation!
Thank you! 🙂
Life is good, isn’t it? 🙂 I would have to say those chicken tenders looked mighty good.
It sure is. Thankful and grateful. 🙂
Nice song! And I love the place in their video, so peaceful and romantic.
I am so glad that it’s spring outside. Yes, we have a weird weather too, but there are more and more warm days that we can enjoy our long walks!
The weather here isn’t the best, we had hail. Wow, we’ve never seen a wild turkey. The kids would have loved that!
I haven’t heard that song by Miranda yet but it is so good, I am glad you shared it!
I’m going to have to try that KFC recipe. I do love their chicken. I can’t wait to give it a try.
Oh, wow. The wild turkey. Wasn’t expecting that. Congrats on your son’s upcoming graduation. Cheers.
Thank you! 🙂
I want to make those chicken tenders. They look so good!
