Belated Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there! How was your Mother’s Day celebration? I hope it was wonderful just as you deserved.
As always, my husband and my son made me felt loved. They never fail to do that. Such good boys! 🙂
Here’s how it went.
1) Read A Sweet Card
This card was sitting on our dining room table, and this was the first thing that I saw when I walked out of our bedroom in the morning. My husband is so good at giving cards. And there’s a sweet poem inside that he created himself. He calls me “Anghel,” the Filipino word for angel.
2) Opened Lovely Gifts
My husband had to work so I opened the gifts that he got me when he got home. He got me this Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. Love the pink shade; So pretty! He also got me the Ninja Foodi Countertop Grill which I’d included in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2021. He definitely got the hint. Hee hee.
3) Enjoyed A Sweet Treat
My son surprised me with this delicious Mother’s Day cookie. He ordered it using our favorite food delivery app. I’m so blessed to have such a sweet and loving son.
4) Ate A Delicious Brunch
I shared about this delicious breakfast crepe on a Currently post here before and I’ve been wanting to have it again. But this time I ordered a different one. It’s called Kenneth’s Original and it had sausage, egg, mushrooms, sprouts and tomato in it. Yum!
5) Feasted On A Sumptuous Dinner
Then we ordered from this Italian restaurant again called Vinnies Neighborhood Italian. If you remember reading it here before, this restaurant was where my husband and I had our first dinner together as a married couple the evening of our wedding day. We just couldn’t get enough of their seafood linguini and calamari. Just so so good!
6) Relaxed
And in between all of those excitements and good food, I was just chilling while watching shows on TV and chitchatting with my sister back home.
There you have it!
How about you? I would love to hear about your Mother’s Day celebration.
