Our son graduated high school! Woohoo!
You would have known about that already if you have dropped by here on the blog and read my post on Monday. 🙂
And of course, it called for a celebration. We love food and to celebrate our beloved grad, we filled our tummies with sumptuous food from lunch to dinner.
The problem is, I forgot to take pictures of the food we had for lunch. I must have been so hungry and still super hyped with the graduation that I totally forgot about taking pictures. LOL.
We ordered lunch from Red Lobster. The seafood lovers that we are, it’s one of our favorite restaurants to have our seafood fill. I did forget to take photos but I do remember the goodies that we enjoyed. We had garlic-grilled shrimp, lobster bisque, bacon-wrapped sea scallops, wagyu bacon cheeseburger, french fries and popcorn shrimp.
For dinner, we planned to go to our favorite Italian restaurant, but the grad was so tired we just had to order from one of our favorite Asian restaurants, Itto Ramen Bar & Tapas. My son had to wake up early on his graduation day, so by the afternoon, he was knocked out. I just let him enjoy his nap and ordered using our favorite food delivery app instead.
And here’s what we had for dinner.
Grilled Squid
I have always enjoyed grilled squid. We always had this dish back home in the Philippines. Yum!
Gyoza
This is filled with so much goodness.
Miso Eggplants
I like Japanese eggplants more compared to the ones you find in U.S. supermarkets. They’re just more delicious for me. You can find Japanese eggplants at your local Asian market.
Takoyaki Balls
We had this in my hometown and we were actually surprised when we found out this restaurant offers them. They’re yummy!
And for dessert, we enjoyed this cake.
It was an absolute great day with great food to celebrate our beloved grad!
I would love to come to your house during a celebration. The food was not just your run of the mill, so exotic and great looking.
