Hello, August!
Time sure is flying by, isn’t it? Christmas in July is over, but that’s okay. I definitely had my bountiful share of Christmas movies. 🙂 July was pretty busy for me and the hubs, as well, in regard to appointments, but everything’s done and we’re both happy campers.
Now, let’s head on to the recap. Check on what you might have missed last month on this little blog of ours .
Fun
For the 4th of July, my in-laws invited us for a cookout, but the hubs had to work so, me and my son just ordered takeout. Also, the hubs wrote a Currently post after having been remiss in his co-blogger duties for awhile. He loves to write, but has just been busy, so I’ll excuse him and retain his services as co-blogger.
Food
As always, I love sharing food. I got to share three delicious dishes last month. One of them was my son’s version of one of his favorite desserts. Yum!
Being Filipino, rice is life for me and my son, so I knew I had to try that steak fried rice recipe as soon I stumbled upon it online.
We’re also seafood lovers over here and after seeing a stuffed trout dish on this TV show, I was itching to give it a try, too.
Shopping
Who doesn’t love to shop on Amazon? LOL. I shared our latest Amazon finds and if you want to look at more Amazon finds, just check and click my Amazon Storefront on the right sidebar.
Travel
I hope we get to go somewhere this year and I shared the places that I want us to visit and explore. But now here comes the Delta Variant. So, we just have to wait and see. We’ll play it by ear, so to speak.
It was a great July, for sure. Now here’s to a wonderful August!
How was your July?

I also thought that once we’re vaccinated, we can move more freely but then the Delta variant came. We’ll have to wait and see though. Thanks for sharing your life updates. Love all the food that you tried.
