Goodbye, September! Hello, October! Can you believe there are only three months left in this year? But I’m not at all complaining because the holidays are such a wonderful time of the year and I am so looking forward to celebrating.
But before I get carried away, let’s head on to the recap of last month, my birth month. I was MIA for the first week of September because we went to Charleston, South Carolina to celebrate my birthday. We haven’t been on a road trip and vacation since the pandemic started so it was truly exciting to be able to go again and explore a new place.
It was mine and my son’s first time in Charleston. It wasn’t even included on my bucket list. It was hubby’s idea to take us there. He had been there before and loved the area. And I can’t thank him enough. Charleston is beautiful and we really enjoyed the places that we checked out. We’ll go back, for sure.
Here’s the stories in September. Read on and see what you might have missed.
Family Fun & Travel
I talked about what to do in Charleston, but this is based on what we did. There is so much to do there, but we were only there for four days. And there is so much to share about each place that we explored. So, I decided to talk about each of them. I started with Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens. I have more to share next month.

Also, I had to stop talking about Charleston in the meantime to give way to my monthly Currently post. You’ve got to read on what we’re currently watching. Such a good show.

Let’s Eat
You know me. I love to eat! 🙂 Fortunately, the hotel is located in Mount Pleasant, Town Center and we had a lot of restaurants to choose from. We went to P.F. Chang’s on our first night. Then had breakfast at First Watch to start my birthday. We also enjoyed gorgeous waterfront views and some dolphins while having dinner.
