And just like that, November’s here and October’s over. The holidays have officially begun. I’m actually already thinking about decorating for Christmas. Anyone else? đŸ™‚
I’ll be sharing Holiday gift guides this month and I’m so excited to share them all with you. Now let’s head on to the October recap. Take a look at what you might have missed. Link to each post is below its image.
Travel
We traveled to Charleston for my birthday and since I couldn’t share them all in September, I continued my story-telling into October. You have to check them all out if you are planning to visit Charleston, South Carolina, in the future. It is such a beautiful port city and it totally reminds me of my hometown in the Philippines.

Beautiful Bridges to See in Charleston
Food
I got to shop at Trader Joe’s again after a while and shared my haul. I’m planning to go back again hopefully next week and see the new stuff they have, especially for Thanksgiving, or perhaps Christmas?
I also shared my favorite cucumber salad recipe. It’s so easy to make and so good!
Fun
Fall is not complete without sharing about the beautiful mums and pumpkins, right? And also, a month is not complete without sharing my monthly Currently post. Just in case you’re new here, it’s where I share what we are currently watching, listening to, eating, enjoying, etc.

And there’s your October recap!
October sure flew by for me, but it was a fun month. The Atlanta Braves made it to the World Series and we couldn’t be more excited.
How about you? How was your October? I hope it was great! Here’s to a great November!

How is it November already? The “-ber” months are my favorites and they always go so quickly.

I know!
It looks like you had a great October! I love Trader Joe’s. I haven’t been in a while.
My October was a busy month. I do think I need a Trader Joes shopping day.
October went by so fast for me this year but it was also a lot of fun with a new (8month old) granddaughter! First Halloween pictures turned out great!
I’ve always wanted to visit Charleston! It just sounds like such a classy, southern place to visit.
November came far too quickly. A trip that has been in the works is happening now and I am just in complete overwhelm that I am here, in Mexico, after all these years.
Good for you, Terri! Have fun!
My October is actually one of the best months that I’ve had. This month I got hired for a new job and also we celebrate my mom and my son’s birthday.
That’s great to know. Congrats on the new job!
I keep hearing about Trader Joe’s but have never been. Bet they have some great stuff in for Christmas.
Such a great month for you… I can’t wait to put up my Christmas decorations as well.
You had a very cool October by the sounds of it! That cucumber salad looks so refreshing!
October has been a wonderful month and loving this recap! I absolutely love Charleston and it’s making me home sick đŸ˜‰
The cucumber salad is my favorite! I will try your version too!
Looks like you’ve had another great month! I always love to have the cucumber salad paired with pork chop or fried chicken
A few years ago, my family and I did a great deal of traveling. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the eastern seaboard. I have always wanted to visit SC and your pictures make me want to even more.
Also, I love cucumber salads so much!
I would love to visit Charleston SC. I stayed in Charleston West Virginia . That food looks delicious perfect salad.
