To all the Christmas music. And I like this song by Michael Buble, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). I came across this song first on TikTok.

Watching…

All the Christmas movies. Aside from all the Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel, we recently watched, The Claus Family on Netflix. It was good. And again, we watched Home Alone, Scrooged and A Christmas Story.

Celebrating…

Christmas! This is our 12th Christmas celebration Christmas here in the U.S. and it was wonderful, as always. Thankful and grateful for that.

Also, I’ve got to chat with my sister on Christmas Eve and they had fun celebrating there in my hometown as well.

Eating…

We celebrated Christmas Eve with my brother-in-law and his family, and really enjoyed the Christmas dinner that my SIL prepared. There was ham, a green bean casserole, mac & cheese, chicken, stuffed mushrooms and desserts. Nom!

For Christmas Day, we ordered food from Harris Teeter which included this European dessert platter. So good!

Drinking…

Hot cocoa with marshmallows. We’ve been having spring-like or fall-like temps this winter. The high on Christmas Day was even 71. But there were some cold days where I got to enjoy my hot cocoa with marshmallows.

Loving…

My red Christmas theme. I have always loved this theme. There has to be red or it will not look so Christmassy and festive for me. Aren’t those wrapping papers pretty?

We had fun opening those gifts on Christmas. I always look forward to seeing the delight on my husband and son’s faces on seeing their gifts. My son surprised me with a gift as well. And as always, my husband showered me with gifts. They’re both good at it.

Enjoying…

While our son was having fun on the cruise to the Bahamas, the hubs and I circled around downtown and in some parts of the city to look at Christmas lights.

They had this Christmas tree at the Grove Arcade in downtown. I think this is the first time that they had this tree there. It was beautiful!

I’ll put up our decor after New Year’s Day so I’m still continuing to enjoy them.

Looking Forward To…

The new year! The holidays ending can be bittersweet but a new year always feels like a fresh start. So I’m definitely looking forward to it.
