Belated Happy Valentine’s Day!
We didn’t go out for dinner because we knew for sure that restaurants would be packed. We just ordered takeout using a food delivery app from my favorite Asian fusion restaurant here in the city called Gan Shan West. And hubby brought home some adorable and delicious Valentine’s Day donuts as our dessert. Nom!
General Tso’s Chicken
This is husband’s favorite Asian dish. This is what he always orders when we order takeout at our favorite Chinese restaurant.
It is crispy marinated chicken thigh with broccoli, hot chili oil, Ray’s Tso sauce and with rice as side.
Rice Bowl with Tofu
This is what I always order from them. It is just so flavorful. I’ll never get tired of this meal.
It has sweet soy, mayo, chili oil, peanut, roasted eggplant, house pickles and kimchi. This can be ordered with different proteins of your choice, but I always prefer to order tofu. It is so good!
Chicken Wings
My son’s choice. This is what he always orders from them. He loves chicken big time that he would eat chicken every single day. 🙂
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
And here’s our dessert. These were Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day collection. Each of those heart-shaped doughnut had a different filling.
The bear which they dubbed as the Beary Best Valentine Doughnut had chocolate cream. The one with the bee on it which they dubbed as Bee Mine Doughnut had strawberry and cream filling. The one with drizzles which they dubbed as Cookie to My Kreme Doughnut is filled with cookies and cream. The pink one they dubbed as My Batter Half Doughnut was filled with cake batter.
I love how they decorated these doughnuts. They are so adorable. They are almost too pretty to eat, actually.
How about you? How did you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!

We had Chinese too for Valentine’s Day, but we ordered from Panda Express. My husband loves their orange chicken. We also watched Disney Eternals.

Our Chinese order is the same! We also get hot and sour soup, crab ragoon and steamed dumplings. SO GOOD.
