11 years and counting. This weekend, we celebrated that special yearly event once again. Looking back at our 10th wedding anniversary celebration, it truly seemed like it was just a few months ago.
We always celebrate special occasions. They are special so we think they are worth every penny and effort. So how did it go? Here it is!
A Card that Says it All
While I always give my husband a DIY card, he always go an extra mile and shops for the best card he can find, whatever the occasion is. And he is always good at picking the card.
The message in the card always fits our story perfectly, and he always adds a personalized note.
I didn’t include his own personal message in the photo. I think it’s a given that the thoughtful and loving note is only for my eyes to see. 🙂
A Gift For the Both of Us
We always give each other gifts on our anniversary. But after Christmas, it seemed like we had given each other all the things that we could have asked for. So we decided to buy a mutual gift that the two of us could share as one.
And we decided on this espresso and coffee maker combo. We are both coffee drinkers and we thought it’s about time to up our coffee drinking game. You know what I mean. We used to only drink brewed coffee with milk and sugar. Now we can drink a more “fancier” coffee whenever we feel like.
We can have brewed coffee or we can have espresso, cappuccino or latte with this new toy of ours. Yum!
A Dinner Unlike Any Other
It was our plan last year to recreate our first dinner date as a married couple at the restaurant we dined at the evening of the day we shared our vows, but it didn’t materialize because of the COVID situation. This year, we finally were able to do it.
Below is a sneak peek of our sumptuous and enjoyable dinner; just the dessert part, that is. Can you tell how delicious that Tiramisu is? I will post more about our anniversary dinner on my Foodie Friday post this week.
It was a wonderful day and hubby, with the help of his work mates, arranged to take the weekend off so we could really fully celebrate.

Hi Tara. Yes, it does. Our coffee is already ready by the time we get up.
