Our son celebrated his 19th birthday last month and, if you remember, I shared about it on this post. We went out to dinner that night at his favorite steakhouse, LongHorn Steakhouse, as per his request and today, I’m sharing about that fun night filled with meaningful conversations and superb food.
Bread & Butter
They always serve this for customers to enjoy while waiting for their orders. I love their bread.
Orange Juice
As always, my son and I ordered our favorite drinks to pair with our entrées.
Whiskey & Sweet Tea
Other than sweet tea with his meal, the hubs had the urge to have an appetizer shot of whiskey on the rocks.
Texas Tonion
We had this once before and enjoyed it so we ordered it again that night.
Side Salads
Their entrées come with a salad and here’s mine and my son’s. My husband ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing which I forgot to take a picture of.
Cowboy Pork Chops
My husband’s choice. He had mashed potato as side.
Renegade Sirloin & Redrock Grilled Shrimp
My choice all the time whenever we go there. This came with rice pilaf and I had broccoli as side. Nom!
Ribeye
My son’s choice and of course, he would have fries as side. How do you like your steak cooked? He had his steak cooked medium rare and it was quite bloody. LOL. I always prefer mine well done.
Coconut Cake
And we got him this cake. We bought those blinking candles separately. They are so stinkin’ cute, especially when the room lights are off. Too bad, I forgot to take a photo after we turned off the lights. I got so excited,I didn’t remember. 🙂
There you have it! He had such a wonderful birthday and he couldn’t be happier. We spoiled him to bits and gave him all the love. Celebrating him was an absolute joy.
Holy moly, I can’t believe your son is 19. I’ve been following you a long time and it’s hard to believe how fast time flies. I hope your son had a great birthday.
My youngest is wanting steak for his birthday. I can’t decide if I want longhorn steakhouse or outback.
