I always look forward to celebrating Mother’s Day. Being a Mommy to my unico hijo (only son) is absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me. He calls me Mommy and yes, it’s the best thing I’ve ever been called.
On my Instagram post on Monday, I gave you a sneak peek of what we enjoyed for dinner on Mother’s Day. And as promised, here’s the whole story.
As always, my two boys namely my husband and my son, spoiled me on Mother’s Day. They’ve never failed. Each of them got me a special gift and for dinner, we just ordered takeout. We knew restaurants would be packed and since hubby arrived home from work early evening, it was the best way to enjoy good food at home at the comfort of our own dining table.
Using a food delivery app, we ordered food from Carraba’s Italian Grill. And these were the deliciousness that we filled our bellies with.
Lobster Ravioli
Hubby’s choice. He said this was good. I should have had a bite. I was so busy enjoying mine that I forgot to have a few bites of his. 🙂
Shrimp & Scallop Linquine Alla Vodka
Mine. I always enjoy a good seafood pasta.
Fettuccine Weesie
My son’s. He enjoyed this as well.
Calamari
If it’s on the menu, we got to have it because it is our son’s favorite appetizer of all time.
Salad
Each pasta dish came with a salad.
Bread
They also send us bread with olive oil and herbs dip.
Sweet Surprises
My special surprises. The big one was from my son and the small one, of course, was from the hubs. Both bags were filled with generous and beautiful things. Love them!
It was a wonderful Mother’s Day and I can’t thank my boys enough.
How about you? How was your Mother’s Day. I hope it was wonderful as well.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!

I enjoyed my Mother’s Day. We went to the grocery store and picked up a steak. It turned out awesome. I also got me a new sign that says home from dollar tree. I hung it on my front door.
The food you had looks delicious. I’d love to try each one but I’m not sure we have that restaurant here.
