Even before our son left for Miami (which I mentioned on this post) to be with his gamer buddies, he’d already told me about their plan of having dinner at a Korean Steakhouse. Their Canadian buddy is of Korean ethnicity and he so wanted them to try Korean BBQ.
They went to COTE Korean Steakhouse – an upscale restaurant and considered to be one of the best in Miami.

They ordered the Butcher’s Feast which included selected cuts of prime and American Wagyu beef, seasonal vegetables, salad, stew, egg soufflé, rice, etc.

The grill is built into the dining table itself and the server was the one who grilled the meat for them. But I believe there are Korean BBQ restaurants where you grill the meat yourself.

There’s all the different cuts of meat.

And the other goodies.

My son’s dessert. It’s soy sauce caramel and he said it was so good.
There were five of them (pic of them HERE) and although the entire meal was pricey, my son said that every bit of the food that they ate was so worth it and it was by far the best meal that he’s ever had. It was their boss’s treat, by the way.
Our son’s home now and I’m so glad that he had a great time with his buddies in Miami. I’m also glad that he found great people who loves to eat and travel as much as he does. It’s always fun and exciting when you find individuals who have the same interests as you.
This was his second trip to Miami. If you remember, he flew there last year with mostly the same buddies to go on a cruise to the Bahamas.
Anyway, I’ve never tried Korean BBQ. Have you? I actually kidded our son that we’re going to eat there someday too and he’ll be the one to pay. He replied….suuure! LOL.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!
Yum – that sounds amazing!! I wish we had a place like that up by where we live. That would be so much fun to enjoy with family.
What a fun place to have dinner at. I like that they prepare the food at the table.
Looks like an amazing place for some great dinner. I love a great bbq. I wish there was a place like that around here.
Those beef cuts look so thick and prime! The last time I had gone to a KBBQ the meat had been cut into such thin slices; all of the food in this post looks so delicious and satisfying!
