So after enjoying drinks and perusing the books at Book Exchange and Champagne Bar, the Mister and I together with our friend Lewis walked to our favorite restaurant in the city and where we usually hang out whenever he’s in town, The Lobster Trap.
It was late in the afternoon when we arrived and there were not many customers yet. It did get quite packed later on in the evening.
What did we have? Here you go!
Cranberry Juice

I was looking for orange juice but they didn’t have it. They only have cranberry juice so I opted for this instead.
The hubs ordered whiskey on the rocks and Lewis ordered wine. That was his third glass of wine for the night. But as he said, he could drink as much as he wanted because he wasn’t driving. We took him home (his sister’s house) after dinner.
Maple Bacon Scallops

Our first appetizer. These were bacon-wrapped scallops with maple syrup. I only ate one because I didn’t want to ruin my lobster dinner. The hubs ate most of them. What can I say? He loves his bacon big time! 🙂
Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms

The second appetizer. Stuffed mushrooms is one of my favorite appetizers. These were stuffed with lobster, cheese and herbs.
Grilled Maine Lobster

The main course. Each of the three of us ordered this lobster off the grill. It was served with charred lemon and what they call, comeback sauce. It was also served with corn and potatoes.
This is what I always order when we’re there. It is just so good! I’ll never get tired of this lobster. Nom!
Lewis is back in New York now but he’s coming back here later in the month with his wife. And we are planning to go out to dinner again. But it’ll be our treat this time.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!
