Hello, October! I’m already seeing teeny tiny bit of colors here and there, but colors will reach its peak around the third week of October. I’m so looking forward to the beauty for the changing of the season and the colors of Fall leaves is something that doesn’t happen in the Philippines, my home country; there it is an eternal summer! Regardless, Fall is in full swing and the cool temps are really giving me all the Holiday vibes. Anyone else? Heck, Christmas decor is already being displayed for sale at the stores. I know not everyone is happy to see those, but it doesn’t bother me. It always excites me to see Christmas decor. How about you?
Anyhoo, it’s time for another recap. Take a look on what you might have missed in the month of September here on the blog.
A Happy Birthday To Me
September is my birthday month and I had such a wonderful birthday. As always, my husband and son nailed it with their surprises. And like we always do, we went out to dinner. The seafood lovers that we all are, I decided that we’d go to Red Lobster and enjoy a feast.

A Yummy & Easy Recipe
This is one of mine and my son’s favorite Filipino dishes, but I never thought about preparing it here because I thought it would be hard until my friend from Michigan shared how she did it the easy way. And it was so good. I will have to order that seasoning again soon!
Fun, Fun, Fun
I also got to share a wall of happiness. Read more on that by clicking the link below the image. And like what I do every month, I shared a Currently post where I share what I’m currently watching, enjoying, loving, etc.
It was a wonderful September, for sure. Now here’s to an awesome October to us all!

Is it me or did September fly by so quickly? It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday month too!
It is crazy that Christmas stuff is heading to the stores if it hasn’t already. I haven’t been to Walmart in months so I don’t know if they have stuff up or not.
I’ve never heard of Sisig before. What a pretty dish, and it looks delicious! Is your dessert from Red Lobster? It also looks very tasty!
Yep, Red Lobster. It was so good!
Looks like you had an amazing birthday! My husband is a seafood lover too 🙂.
Belated happy birthday Lynn! Wonderful article. It’s nice to write articles like this, reminds us to be more grateful about our life. Will try to write one while traveling.
