Belated Happy Thanksgiving! How was your celebration? I hope it was filled with good food and good company.

As always, we celebrated Thanksgiving with my brother-in-law and his family. And as always, my sister-in-law was the hostess with the mostest.

Watching…

I have made it a tradition every year to watch Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on TV. More than anything, I always look forward to seeing the floats. The creativity showed in those floats are just fascinating; love the gigantic balloons too. And of course, it’s exciting to know who the performers are. I have always liked Mariah Carey’s, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” song and I’m glad that was what she sang.

It would be great to watch the parade in person one day and explore New York City once again.

Currently...(November 2022) Thanksgiving Edition

Aren’t the paper plate and napkin pretty? My sister-in-law always gets those matching paper plates and napkins every Thanksgiving.

Currently...(November 2022) Thanksgiving Edition

Aside from the pumpkin pie above, my sister-in-law also baked this coconut cake. I have always liked desserts with coconut in them. This was good.

She also baked these brownies but I had no more room for them in my little tummy.

I didn’t get to take photos of the turkey, gravy, dinner roll and all the sides because my tummy was already growling. LOL.

Looking Forward To…

Our house is already decked for Christmas since last weekend. It is my favorite time of the year so I’m so looking forward to celebrating it.

    Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I miss having cable on occasion and Thanksgiving is one of those times. I miss watching the parade and all the holiday movies.

    I absolutely love everything about Thanksgiving and especially the Thanksgiving Day Parade by Macy’s! I went one year in person and it was so fun!
