There’s something about the holidays that makes me want to bake and enjoy the goodness and smell of freshly-baked sweets. The other week, I baked Chocolate Crinkle Cookies which is mine and my son’s favorite. I also baked Leche Flan a few times this season which is my favorite Filipino dessert. And last week, this is what I baked, Nutella Pastry Wreath.

I came across a video of this dessert on TikTok and I was drooling while watching. 🙂 That being said, I knew I had to make it to satisfy my craving and here it is. It was so good! Not to mention, it was so easy to make with only four ingredients – pastry sheet (I used crescents), Nutella, egg and powdered sugar.

Here’s what it looked like before I sprinkled powdered sugar on top of it. I did think I kind of overcooked it a little bit. The content creator baked it on 180°C. I baked it on 355°F. Next time, I’m going to try to bake it on 350°F.

And here it is with the powdered sugar. The content creator added just a dusting of icing sugar. As you can see, I smothered mine. For me, the more powdered sugar, the better. What’s your take on powdered sugar?

I have a sweet tooth and so does my husband and my son. That is one thing that we all have in common. And we really enjoyed this Nutella Pastry Wreath. I’m actually going to bake one again today and, just like the last time, I know it’ll be gone in a few minutes. That’s how good it is! Nom!
Have you tried baking this before? If not yet and you would like to try it, here’s the link to the video.
