I always look back on the year that was…contemplating on the memories we have created as a family, things we have accomplished, and all the other things that life has thrown at us. All in all, I must say, 2022 was a great year. There were two small incidents that happened, but they turned out to be blessings in disguise and we couldn’t be more grateful and thankful. Both happened a few months back, but when I look back at them, I am still in awe in how it all came together. It’s like the stars had aligned or something.
Last year, I talked about the best of that year with my 2021 highlights post. I decided to continue it this year so here you go.
Son’s Trip to Miami
My son is now a young adult and although I am a little worried with him spreading his own wings, I am also happy that he loves to travel and eat like me, and having such good times with good people. He is a pro-gamer and he met his buddies there and they have met quite a few times and had a blast. They went to the Bahamas in 2020 and last year, they met again in Miami. They all love to eat and actually went to a Michelin Star Korean BBQ restaurant.
Friends’ U.S. Visit
My husband’s best friend who has been his friend from the 1st grade in elementary all the way to high school graduation who is now currently residing in my home country visits the U.S. every now and then, and him and his wife did it again last year. He always makes it a point to see us and treat us to dinner whenever he’s in the country. We also gave him and his wife a treat, and it is always a fun time hanging out with them enjoying good food and catching up.
