Happy New Year! How did you ring in the new year? As usual, we stayed in and watched from our front row seats as the ball dropped in Times Square. We have made it a tradition to really wait until midnight and welcome and cheer in the new year. The hubs also made it a tradition to prepare a drink. This time, he made a slushie that is a combo of bourbon and mountain dew with crushed ice which he has dubbed a bourbon slush. I had a sip and he had the rest. 🙂
Anyhoo, time for another recap. Check on what you might have missed here on the blog in December last year.
A Merry Christmas
It was our 13th year of celebrating Christmas here in the U.S. and they were all joyful Christmases that are to be remembered. Always grateful and always thankful for that. You can read more about our Christmas shenanigans on my Currently post for December. The link is below the image.
I also shared some stocking stuffer ideas as well as a few of my favorite Christmas movies. I love watching them during the holiday season.

Hubs’ Corner
After more than a year, the hubs finally got the time to write a post again. Now let’s see when he’s going to do another post? Not after another year, I hope.
We Love Food
We all love food over here and below were the goodies that we have tried preparing for the first time. Have you tried preparing any of them yet? Trust me, they were all delicious and I can’t wait to have some again.
That’s a wrap for an amazing December!
How was your December? I hope it was merry!

My holidays were pretty mellow for the most part. With Christmas weekend being the most busy in terms of activities. But it all went smoothly and I got tons of great gifts; including an air fryer with I plan to tinker with before too long. I’m glad to see yours went ok too! Holidays can be so stressful for some people. The food foods look awesome too! Thank you for sharing!

I mostly watched a bunch of reality shows during the holiday break. I prefer low key holidays.
