Gifts are always part of a wedding anniversary celebration. For us, at least. And knowing that our anniversary is right around the corner, I decided to curate gift ideas. I’m sharing it here on the blog just in case you are in search of gifts for a 12th anniversary as well.
There are two kinds of anniversary gifts…traditional and modern. I guess some people would prefer traditional over the modern gifts and perhaps, vice versa. I don’t mind receiving any of the two at all. I think my husband feels the same way.
But I must admit, when it comes to gifting in the past years, we didn’t really just focus on what the traditional or modern gifts were for that certain anniversary year. We just always got what we knew one of us needs or wants or likes or loves. This year could be different, though after seeing all these fine things.
Traditional: Silk and Linen
Silk and linen are the traditional gifts for a 12th wedding anniversary. There are luxurious items that you can find when it comes to silk. Linen is not far behind.
Men can never have too many ties. My husband already has some but I know he would appreciate an addition to his collection. I also like the look of the linen shirt paired with the linen pants. Casual and yet dashing.
Most women, if not all, love silk. I love silk and a silk robe would be nice to have, for sure.

- Women’s Silk Robe
- Men’s Linen Shirt
- Men’s Linen Drawstring Pants
Modern: Pearls
When I think of pearls, I could only think of jewelry. So I was delighted to see cuff links that are made with pearls. My husband always wears cuff links whenever he wears his suit. I think he’d like a set of those Mother of Pearl cuff links.
There are a great amount of gifts for women when it comes to pearls. In the jewelry section alone, there’s earrings, necklace, ring, bracelet, etc. But hey, there’s also a watch. And how about a place for all of those things…a jewelry box of course.

- Mother of Pearl Ladies Watch
So there you have it…a great selection of traditional and modern 12th anniversary gifts.
