There is certainly nothing more romantic than Italian food. Well, for us, at least because it has been what we’ve been having for a few years now in praise of good food to celebrate our wedding anniversary. And mind you, we are also having the same Italian food from our favorite Italian restaurant in the city, Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian. This was actually the restaurant that we went to on our first night as a married couple.

The hubs and I dined in for our 11th wedding anniversary there last year, but for our 12th a few days ago, we decided to just order a takeout. And our son got to join us. Here are the sumptuous food that we filled our tummies with.

Calamari Fritti

We always get their Calamari. For me, they have the best in town. And as I had mentioned before, whenever Calamari is on the menu, we always get it. It’s our son’s all-time favorite appetizer and I guess, mine too.

Baked Ziti Napolitano

My husband’s choice. He prefers baked pasta more than anything. He had leftovers and I ate some for lunch the following day. I can’t help myself. It was so good!

Linguini & Clams

This is what I always order from them. I’m never going to get tired of this. It is just divine.

Fettuccine Alfredo

Our son’s choice. He has always been a fan of pasta with white sauce. I have always preferred red sauce in mine.

Tiramisu

We have to have this for dessert because their Tiramisu is to-die-for. It melts in your mouth and it is just super good. But I must say, my son’s Tiramisu that he prepared last Christmas was super delicious as well.

There you have it…the deliciously romantic Italian food to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary.
