If you’ve been here since last week, you already know by now why I didn’t have a recap for March. And that’s because we left around mid-March and just returned last week from our one-month long vacation to my home country.
When we planned that vacation, I knew I’d be taking a break from blogging, too, because we’d only be there for a month and I wanted to savor every moment with my family.
Since I didn’t have a March recap, I decided to make this post a two-in-one. So here you go, the recaps for March and April. Check on what you might have missed.
March
Spring has sprung in our neck of the woods. Although we welcomed the first day of spring in my hometown, the 20th, I still was able to enjoy the beautiful blooms of my daffodils just before we left. They usually bloom even before spring officially starts which is always a delight because it signals that spring is right around the corner.
Spring not only means cleaning for me, it also means organizing so I thought of sharing some pantry organization finds on Amazon.
And when it’s cold, one of our favorites to have is pot roast and the pot roast recipe that I shared is the best that we’ve ever had. After I stumbled upon the recipe, I never looked back.

April
April flew by in a jiffy. From enjoying the remaining days in my hometown with my family to having an adventure with the hubs’ friend and his wife for a few days in Manila before flying back to the U.S. And our flight back home had a minor setback but I must say, it ended just fine.
I’ve already shared stories of our flight from here in the U.S. to my hometown, as well as our first day there. But there are more stories to tell. Many, many more.

How about you? How was March and April for you?
Yes, spring is definitely a time for cleaning and renewing for me too! Thanks for the pantry organizing tips 🙂
It looks like you had a fun April and May. I need to organize more. Especially our pantry. Yikes.
April flew by too! I didn’t even realize it’s already the first of May today LOL
We have very much appreciated the sunshine and longer days March and April have bought with it. We’d just like the showers to stop now
Sounds like it was a good couple of months for you. We spent ours moving.
I look forward to hearing all of the stories. It sounds like you had an eventful couple of months.
I particularly enjoyed reading about your adventures exploring the countryside and your progress with your book.
very busy with work, and catching up on some reading, trying to play catchup on some spring cleaning. But something always comes up.
April was a crazy month here with the weather. It got warm and then cold so it delayed my garden plans.
I agree sounds like you had an awesome experience these past few months! For me I’ve been moving and trying to organize more. I know I am ready for Spring!
