Since we had our last vacation to my hometown almost five years ago, there were already two tiny additions to our family…my two adorable great-nieces. They both just turned two and before our recent trip, I just watched their cuteness on Facebook. I finally got to meet them on our recent trip, and even got the chance to celebrate one of the little one’s birthday.
She had the cutest 2nd birthday cake and it was so good too.
They had the birthday party at this new restaurant called Gryks Food House.
I already had a glimpse of this restaurant even before arriving in my hometown because my sister had been there before and shared some photos with me. She actually planned to take us there so it was a delight when we found out that they were going to have the birthday party there.
Look at that decor. The restaurant looks so fancy but minus the fancy price.
They even had fancy glasses.
And the food was good. I didn’t get to take a lot of food photos because there was just so much to see and eat. LOL.
Our family was seated at this one long table which includes my brother and his family, my sister and her family, and then the three of us. Can you spot me? 😉 The only family members missing on this photo are my nephew (Skye’s Dad), his wife and Skye herself. There was an individual taking photos and I don’t know if he was a hired photographer or a friend of theirs. Regardless, he took a lot of great shots at the party. This is a photo that he took. The photo of the cake is his too. The rest are mine.
It was such a great 2nd birthday party for my adorable great-niece Harriet Skye whom we fondly call Skye.
Looks like a great time in a great restaurant, yay for it not being pricey too! Love the cake 🙂
