My niece, Mawee (my sister’s eldest), got married in March and she asked us (my husband and I) to be her Godparents of the wedding. And that was the main reason why we flew to my hometown in the Philippines. We graciously accepted her request, and since the last time we visited was almost five years ago, we grabbed the chance to take a one month vacation as well.
A few days before the wedding, we surprised her with a bridal shower party and we had so much fun!
Her friend who flew from another city created the games with the help of Mawee’s younger sister, Reese. The games were so much fun. We were so loud and we wondered if the neighbors got annoyed. Ha! My husband, brother and brother-in-law were outside at the porch and were so amused with us. We couldn’t help it. We laughed, we chuckled, we giggled, we screamed and all of the above.
My sister also had a cake made especially for the bride. I think it would be shocking to share a close-up photo of the cake. LOL. But it’s there in the photos somewhere so just find it if you like.

That’s the lingerie that I got her. It is a set and came with a bottom as well. She said she really liked it. I like it too. It’s made of mesh material and is really sexy. Now I’m wondering if she wore it on their first night? 🙂
And there we all are! This was taken after all the fun and excitement. Our throats may have had hurt from all the fun but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
