One thing that our son enjoys doing whenever we visit our home country is spend time with his cousins. They are teens and young adults who mostly share the same interests so they get along well. With our trips before, he played online games with his cousin Migui and soccer with his cousin Mat-Mat. With this recent trip, they did more and even got to try a new thing.
Target Shooting
Like my older brother, my brother-in-law is into practical shooting and even joined practical shooting tournaments before with my brother. My son had never tried firing a gun so together with his cousins, my brother-in-law decided to teach them the how-tos.
That’s my brother-in-law holding a gun and giving them an example of how to target shoot.
Then it was my son’s turn to try it. They said he missed the target. LOL.
Then it was my nephew Nikko’s turn, and he hit the target. Looks like he is going to make a good practical shooter someday and will follow in his Dad’s footsteps.
Although he missed the target, my son looked like a pro here, and he certainly had a blast target shooting for the first time.
Playing at the Arcade
On my niece’s (the bride) treat, they went to the mall and played games at the arcade. Arcade games are always fun. We went to one here in the city before for my son’s birthday and even us adults had a blast.
They played basketball.
Then they played the guitar. They played more games and my niece took a lot of photos, but this post might turn into a photo book if I try to share them all. đŸ™‚
They got hungry and had some snacks.
There they are. The two on the left are my niece (she took all these photos) and her husband (they are the newlyweds), and that’s Nikko sitting beside my son (right).
Futsal
Futsal is an indoor football played on a hard court. My nephew Mat-Mat loves it as well as soccer so, he invited my son Yogi and my nephew Nikko to play with him and his friends. They played many times, but they got so engrossed in playing and hanging out that they didn’t get to have a picture of them taken. Maybe next time.
It sure was fun and memorable times spent with his cousins. Until they see each other again!
