Hello, June! Spring is still in full swing and although summer is right around the corner, we’re still having temps in the 60s and low 70s which I am definitely loving. A friend from California called me the other day and she said, temperature wise, they didn’t have spring; it went directly to summer. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?
Anyhoo, I continued to share more about our trip to my home country here on the blog. And there are more to share later on. For now, check on what you might have missed last May. So here’s the recap!
Wonderful Celebrations
There were a lot of fun and exciting events that happened while we were in hometown for a month. As I’ve mentioned, we went there to attend my niece’s wedding as their Godparents. My son was the Bible Bearer, too. We also gave her a bridal shower a few days before the wedding.
And we celebrated my son’s 20th birthday there as well as my brother-in-law’s birthday. We got to go to my great-niece’s 2nd birthday party, too.
I also shared our celebration of Mother’s Day which my boys always make a point to be a special day for me.

Food & Fun
We ate a lot during our vacation. What can I say? We all love food!
A good friend of mine who used to be my work colleague paid me a visit and brought me food. The whole family also enjoyed sumptuous Filipino food while enjoying spectacular nighttime views of my hometown. And we went to the beach and ate sea urchins.

May went by so fast. I had my sons last band concert and we celebrated his birthday. It’s hard to believe he is 12 years old already.
