I’ve been seeing a lot of videos of these shrimp and crab rangoons on TikTok. But I didn’t prepare it until I saw the air fryer version. I prefer using the air fryer now over the deep fryer. I actually haven’t used our deep fryer since I’ve had my air fryer which was a gift from the hubs on Mother’s Day a couple of years ago.
There are different varieties of rangoon recipes. I’ve had cream cheese rangoon before as well as blue crab rangoon during my birthday a few years back. But this is the first time that I’ve had this combination of shrimp and crab.
These air fryer shrimp and crab rangoons are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not to mention, absolutely delicious.
You can have it for snack, lunch or dinner. Also, you can have it all by itself dipping it in your favorite sauce or pair with any of your favorite side dishes. As usual, we paired it with steamed jasmine rice and we had it for dinner. Yum!
These rangoons are easy to make. You just mix all the ingredients together, then get some wonton wrappers and fill the mixture with it. Filling the wrappers can take time but you just have to be patient because it’s totally worth it. You are definitely going to enjoy your hard work later on.
