Belated Happy Thanksgiving! How was your celebration? I hope it was filled with good food, meaningful conversations and relaxing family time.
We always celebrate Thanksgiving with my brother-in-law and his family and this year, we celebrated Thanksgiving the Saturday after Thanksgiving itself and that’s because not everyone could make it on Thursday. The same scenario happened a few times before and it was totally fine. Better late than never, right?
Watching…
I have made it a tradition to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV every year. Don’t you just love those floats? And those balloons! They are amazing as always. The performances and marching bands are something to look forward to seeing, too.
Loving…

My sister-in-law would always have matchy-matchy plates and napkins. They are adorable!
Eating…

Here’s my plate. My sister-in-law would always prepare a feast. I got a little bit of everything except for mac and cheese, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
As you can see, there’s turkey with gravy, green beans, deviled eggs, dinner roll, broccoli casserole, sweet potato and corn. That food may have looked small but it sure filled me. I had all these with a little bit of soda with ice.
There were desserts, too, like pumpkin pie, pecan pie and cake. I didn’t get to eat any because there was no room in my tummy.
Looking Forward To…
Now that Thanksgiving is over, I think it’s safe to say that Christmas is full steam ahead. Our house is already decked for Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving. That’s how I always do it. The hubs still has to put the lights outside, but no problem.
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?
It can be Thanksgiving anytime you want it to be, right?! Glad you had a good one with your family. Enjoy the Christmas season!
Yum, your Thanksgiving looked so good. I love those plates too!
Sadly I missed the Macy’s parade this year which is a shame because it’s always such fun to watch.
We had a good Thankgiving Day here. I cooked just a few small things for my teen sons and other half. We enjoyed the leftovers, too.
The classic meals on the holidays are always my favorite. Everything looks fantastic.
I suddenly craved for mac & cheese! We don’t observe many holidays, so cooking with a lot of food is not easy 😀 Those look good btw.
Mmmm…. Your Thanksgiving dinner looks inviting! We had also a lot of delicious traditional dishes!
I love the thanksgiving vibes and they way you captured the season.
For me it was cooking all day long which I love and also hanging with my family and having fun. Love it and it is always a special day in our house!
The Macy’s Thanks Giving Day Parade must be great to watch. They have so many great floats and balloons. It sounds like you had a good range of dishes to eat. The broccoli casserole sounds yummy! I do love my broccoli x
I guess the parade was great to watch and the Thanksgiving momemt that you have captures sounds really beautiful!
I missed out on watching the parade this year. I was at work on Thanksgiving day.
