Growing up, the story of Moses was the one that I enjoyed watching on television the most. I’ve already lost track of how many times I’ve watched it. A million times, I guess. And I will never get tired of watching it over and over again. It’s one of those movies that never get old.
Recently, I was given the opportunity to watch the advance screening of “The Prince of Egypt: The Musical.” The fact that it is a musical gave it a new spin on the tale that I was accustomed to watching. And that made it exciting for me.
I have always enjoyed watching musicals, and although I didn’t see this in person, I was still very much entertained. It is a must-see event for all fans of musical theatre, for sure.
The Prince of Egypt: The Musical was filmed live at the West End’s Dominion Theatre in London, and has been brought to life by Stephen Schwartz.
It features a cast and orchestra of 60 performers, making it one of the biggest musicals ever staged. There were so much talent in this show which was amazing.
Watch this show with your kids and begin priceless family conversations about Moses.
