Happy New Year! How did you ring in the new year? Like we did last year, we watched the ball drop in Times Square in the comfort of our own living room, and in my cozy pajamas.

I was also chit-chatting with my sister in the Philippines the whole time we were watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. They’d already welcomed the New Year in the Philippines 13 hours ahead of us here in the U.S. They enjoyed some good food, fireworks and some karaoke. We enjoyed some good food over here, too, but no karaoke. Next time, maybe? I did hear the sound of fireworks nearby, but I was already ready to go to bed so I didn’t bother to look.

Anyhoo, another month had ended, much less, another whole year. So, here’s the recap for December. Check on what you might have missed.

    I will definitely be trying those air fryer blackened chicken tenders. I bet my partner would love them as he loves anything blackened.

    December seemed to fly by so quickly. We had a good Christmas. My son enjoyed all of his gifts that I got him. I didn’t do anything fun for New Years this year. I was supposed to be off but one of my mangers asked me to come in. So I worked part of the day, so I ended up going to be at my regular time.

    Happy New Year! My December was beautiful my New Year, well I have COVID but I’m still grateful for a fresh year. I will have to try those airfryer blackeye peas out that’s for sure.

    I don’t know that I have ever made sauteed kale. It looks like a good way to prepare it.
    Sounds like you did a variety of things during December – nice to mix it up.

    Our December was difficult since I lost my mom and everything was just a blur. It was a painful Christmas and I just slept through the holidays. For now, I am just trying to pick up the pieces and hoping for a better 2024.
