If you remember, I mentioned about taking a road trip to South Carolina in my Currently post for January. I also mentioned in that post that I am looking forward to our next road trip. And today, I’m sharing about that road trip to Columbia, South Carolina specifically.
Our first road trip to Columbia was a short one. This time around, we stayed for four days and three nights. This was an eventful trip which made me so happy and on cloud 9, just like I said in my January recap post.
Our Temporary Home
Here’s a glimpse of our hotel suite. We really enjoyed our stay here. Such a lovely hotel that serves free breakfast and also offers free parking. Those are two things that I always consider whenever I choose a hotel to stay in. It has to have excellent reviews, too, and be close to where we’re headed. This hotel got it all.
A Walk through History
We attended two amazing events and did some touring.
One of the places that we visited was this museum. There was so much to see and learn from this museum which was fascinating and fun. It was chilly that day, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the outside.
Dinner at the Lake
Then we headed to this park with a view of the lake, and enjoyed our meal. The restaurants nearby were packed so we decided to get a takeout and devoured them here. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset here as well.
I will share about the food that we filled our tummy with during this trip come Friday.
It was an absolutely wonderful trip we had in Columbia that is one for the books. I couldn’t be more grateful for such beautiful memories we created as family.
How about you? Have you been to Columbia, South Carolina? Do tell me about it.
