Spring has sprung and I couldn’t be any happier. We’ve already had our yard cleaned from all the leaves and sticks and now I’m ready to continue my closet and around the house decluttering. How about you?
Anyhoo, it’s time for another Currently post so, here you go!
Watching…
Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix. My older brother who is now living in Canada recommended this show to me. I do enjoy watching a good fantasy show and I really enjoyed this one. Not to mention, the lead actor, Gordon Cormier, a.k.a Aang, who is so adorable is half-Filipino. That was cool to know.
Damsel on Netflix. Another recommendation from my brother and it was a really entertaining film. If you’re into fantasy films, you should watch this one. My husband enjoyed it, too.
The Tourist Season 1 on Netflix. Starring Jamie Dornan, this series was filmed in Australia. There were some thrilling scenes in this series and there were some weird stuff, too. I’m almost done with the first season and I do wonder what the ending will be.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 on ABC. I used to watch this show back when Patrick Demsey and Eric Dane were still in it. Then I stopped watching. But after learning about the new season, I thought of watching it again. I’m loving the new character Dr. Lucas Adams.
Reading…
My niece, Mawee who also loves to read, recommended this book, Beach Read by Emily Henry. My husband borrowed it from the City Library for me. It’s my first time to have read a book by this author. It was a good read.
Loving…
I am loving all the spring blooms around town like the pretty white blooms of the dogwood trees, the pretty pink blooms of the cherry trees, etc. We saw this interesting and uniquely cut tree in downtown. How cool is that?
Drinking…
I am a coffeeholic and never was a fan of tea. My sister on the other hand is so into tea. She was actually the one who encouraged me to drink herbal tea. I finally decided to give tea a try and tried this chamomile herbal tea, and now I’m addicted. I always look forward to drinking a cup before bedtime.
Eating…
I just recently discovered a Filipino Food Truck nearby and I was over the moon excited. What Philippine native wouldn’t be? The food from my home country is definitely one of the top-most things that I miss so much. I already tried a few of their dishes and I can’t wait to try the others. Will share more soon!
Looking Forward To…
More spring-like weather. It’s already spring but the weather can’t seem to decide yet whether he’s going to leave Mr. Winter behind or not. Or did he ever get the memo?
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?

I keep watching Grey’s Anatomy even though it’s been rather blah the last couple of years. I keep hoping it’ll get better!
I need to watch Damsel. It sounds like something I’d enjoy.

I watched Damsel when it came out and really enjoyed the film. It was so much better than I thought it would be. It’s great that you discovered a Filipino Food truck near to you. I bet they have some really lovely food. I am sure I’d enjoy it too.

I love the noodle recipe, we call it bijon guisado. The crispy chicharon toppings look delicious – perfect homestyle comfort food.
Lynndee says
Yep, bijon guisado or pancit bihon. It was so good!

I’m glad you have a nearby Filipino food truck to make you feel at home. I love pancit bihon and that photo is looking good.

The watching section of your post made me feel like I should get caught up on Grey’s Anatomy since it has been years since I last watched it. It would be nice to revisit the characters and storylines from where I left off and see how the show has evolved over time!

I will have to check out the Damsel and the Tourist. I think both are on my watchlist. It is nice to have some ideas for what to watch lately. We don’t have much Filipino food near us, and I would love to be able to try some dishes.

I’m loving the spring weather. Except Mother Nature can’t make up its mind on being cold enough for the heat or warm enough for the ac. My yard has also been very confused this year. It was greener all winter than it was last summer. I had to mow it all winter.

Spring time is my favorite time of year, I’m cleaning up my yard and seeing all the flower blowing make me want to do more. And continue to watch Grey’s anatomy, I hope that they continue the show.
