Goodbye, April! Hello, May!
Time is really flying by. I even kidded the hubs that it’s going to be Christmas in July before we know it. I love Christmas and he does, too although not as much as me. He’s not so into Christmas in July. So, knowing what his reaction is going to be (rolling his eyes), I knew I had to say it. 🙂
Anyhoo, seeing that it’s the beginning of a new month, it’s time for another recap of what I shared last month. So here’s your April recap. Check on what you might have missed.
Earth Day
April 22nd is Earth Day all over the world. I decided to honor the holiday by sharing some of my favorite Earth Day quotes that inspire. I hope they inspired you, too.

I Love Food
I always share recipes every month as well as foods that we have tried recently. I shared two delicious recipes last month as well the excitement of finally having a Filipino food truck nearby. Their food is so good! Can’t wait to get some again.

Mother’s Day is next Sunday. Have you shopped for the special Moms in your life already? I’ve shared some ideas in case you haven’t yet.
2024 Solar Eclipse
We were not in the path of totality but it did get kind of gloomy around here which actually felt a little eerie. I did enjoy watching the Total Solar Eclipse unfold on TV.
Lastly, I was given the opportunity to watch the advance screening of this movie about hope. It’s a good one, y’all!

The month of April went by so fast. The solar eclipse was probably the highlight of that month. I was at work so I didn’t get to go outside. But it got dark enough the parking lot lights came on and cars had their headlights on. It was very eerie feeling.
