Before my son continued to pursue his goals and chase his dreams, he spent a couple of weeks with us and made the most of each day. So today, I decided to make this monthly Currently post especially focused on him thus, the Son Edition.
Loving…
He took this photo himself on the 4th of July. Isn’t that an awesome capture? Love it! Him and his buddies enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display where they were at on America’s birthday this year.
Enjoying…
This was on the road where we live. He went for a run and came across this adorable turtle. I had seen different kinds of wild animals in our yard like black bear, deer, turkey, coyote, etc., but have never seen a turtle yet. Back in my home country, the Philippines, the color of the turtles are like grayish. Seeing that this turtle is that colorful is really fascinating to me. And those eyes, though!
Eating…
I told him about the new Filipino food truck in town which is located nearby. He was so looking forward to sampling their food and he made sure to do just that while he was home.
He ordered their chicken adobo. It came with rice and pickled cucumber.
He also ordered their grilled pork belly. It came with pickled cucumber as well.
Looking Forward To…
My son is now in a place that is new to him and he is so looking forward to exploring the area. I couldn’t be happier and more excited for him and I wish him all the best in the world!
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?
