Road trip vibes once again and that was because we went on another road trip last week and saw more parts of South Carolina and Georgia that were new to us. If you remember, we took the road less traveled on that previous road trip that we had a couple of weeks ago. The navigation app took us on roads less traveled again but this time around, the roads were even nicer and prettier. Nicer because there were more lanes and prettier because there were beautiful lake views.
South Carolina Welcome Center

But before we even got into those unfamiliar roads, we stopped at the South Carolina Welcome Center first for the hubs to do some stretching and take care of things only he knew. LOL.
Lake Greenwood

What a beautiful view! And it caught us by surprise. We didn’t think at all that we would see water on these roads. Too bad we didn’t get to stop and explore, even just for a little bit in that spot where the buildings were. We saw little shops, etc., but we were so looking forward to arriving at our destination in Georgia. Maybe next time.
Lake Greenwood is a man-made lake that is located in Greenwood, Laurens, and Newberry Counties of South Carolina.
Town of McCormick

We then drove through this small town. That building on the left is the McCormick County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center.
Town of Johnston

On our way home, we drove the same roads that we took on our first road trip. Those are peach trees that are still small. It was a beautiful view!
Other than running into a deluge in Spartanburg, South Carolina on our way to Georgia, and another one in Hendersonville, North Carolina on our way home, it was a wonderful trip and definitely one for the books!
It sounds like you had a great trip and the peach trees sound amazing as do the views you saw
