No doubt about it…we are all seafood lovers for life. And this was not the first time that my husband’s best friend, Lewis, treated us to dinner at our favorite seafood restaurant here in the city.

He is in the country again since late June and before he took us on another road trip and treated us to lunch in a Mexican restaurant, he first treated us to a delicious seafood feast.

Triple Tower

This is his favorite to indulge in so he ordered this for him and for the hubs.

This three tiered tower was filled with a pound of dungeness crab legs, one chick lobster, half a pound of shrimp, eight little neck clams, cocktail claws with chipotle mustard aioli and a dozen gulf coast oysters.

I had some lobster from this spread.

Look at those oysters. Everything was gone in a heartbeat. They both gobbled them all up!

Pan-Seared Halibut

I was actually thinking about ordering their Maine lobster but decided otherwise after seeing the halibut on the menu. The vegetables that came with it just appealed to me that night more than the lobster.

The halibut was served with roasted parsnips, wilted spinach and orange saffron cream sauce. This dish was so good!

Pinot Noir

The hubs’ favorite wine.

White Wine

Lewis ordered a bottle of this for him and the hubs to share, but the hubs prefers red wine more than white. I had a sip of this and it was actually good. And it smelled like passion fruit.

Cranberry Juice

My drink. It had lime juice in it, too, and it was so refreshing.

It was definitely a good night of good food and good company with our good friend, Lewis. Until next time!
