Goodbye, July! Hello, August! Summer is still in full swing but we’ve already had a few chilly mornings which makes me think that autumn will be here before we know it. We’ve been having thunderstorms lately, too. How’s the weather where you are?
Anyhoo, it’s a new month which only means one thing here on the blog, a rewind of last month. So, here’s July recap for you. Check on what you might have missed.
Life Is a Highway
We love going on road trips and we did a few last month. We took the road less traveled and saw the beauty of the countryside of South Carolina and Georgia.
My husband’s best friend visited the county again and he took us to the back roads of North Carolina as well.
Indulging in Flavors That Make Life Delicious
With road trips come good food. We need to feed our hungry tummies after feasting our eyes with the beauty of the country, don’t we? We tried a restaurant in Georgia that was located right next door to our hotel.
Hubby’s best friend treated us to a Mexican lunch after the road trip. But he already treated us to a seafood dinner feast before that.

Family Time Is the Best Time
Our son was home for a couple of weeks and we made the most of each day. He’s now continuing to chase after his dreams and I couldn’t be happier and excited for him. I wish him all the best in the world!

I visited the countryside of Georgia and was immediately captivated by its rolling hills and quaint small towns. The fresh air and warm hospitality made me feel right at home, a welcome break from the busy city life. Wandering through lush vineyards and historic sites, I found a peaceful escape that truly rejuvenated my spirit.
