I love a good chicken recipe. My son is a huge fan of chicken as well. He would eat chicken every single day. And although he’s not here for me to feed because he is pursuing his goals and chasing his dreams, I am still on the lookout for new chicken recipes to try.
I saw a video of these chicken fritters on TikTok and they looked so good. Without hesitating, I knew I had to give the recipe a try.
What sold me to try these chicken fritters was the addition of feta cheese. For me, everything is always better with cheese in it. I remember when I was a kid, I would always nibble on cheddar cheese.
Like I almost always do, I tweaked this recipe. I added salt and added more amount of the ingredients. The recipe didn’t call for salt and that’s because the creator made a dip for the fritters. I am not a dip fan when it comes to viand so I skipped it. And the fritters were still so good.
Here’s how I prepared them.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 medium-size yellow onion, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 3/4 cup baby spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- Avocado oil
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients except avocado oil.
- Make round patties about 3-4 inches in diameter out of the mixture.
- In medium heat, heat avocado oil in a skillet. Put enough amount of oil to fry the patties.
- Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until cook through.
- Enjoy!
I think the photos didn’t do them justice but, trust me, these chicken fritters were delish! And they were husband approved. He’s not a big chicken fan so if he likes it, it must be that good.
These chicken fritters are so easy to prepare and perfect for those busy nights. Have you tried them before?
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!
