Well, not literally because she is thousands of miles away from me, but let’s just say…kind of because just like my son who loves to share his foodie adventures with me, my sister would share her food escapades with me as well. Thanks to Facebook messenger, it is where all the shenanigans happen. She’s not active on Facebook, she just shares all her escapades privately with me.
My sister had already shared a ton of those escapades and I thought I might as well give you a glimpse of one of those, with her permission, of course. She didn’t have second thoughts of saying yes when I asked her if I could share her photos and talk about them on the blog.
She and her husband together with their kids would almost always grab brunch or lunch after going to church. And here were the goodies that they all enjoyed one Sunday.
Raspberry Juice

Don’t they look refreshing?!
Cookies N’ Cream Frappé & Classic Lemonade

Cookies N’ Cream is one of my favorite flavors. That said, I’d definitely order that Frappé if I were there.
Salad

Salad with crab meat on top? Yes, Please!
Seafood Chowder

As a seafood lover, I’m literally drooling looking at this chowder. My Hubs would die to have this!
Tuna Melt Panini

Love tuna and love a good panini.
Burger & Fries

This is the kind of meal that my husband and son would order without hesitation.
Bacon & Sausage Spaghetti

I’ve never had spaghetti with bacon and sausage before. Not the Italian way, obviously. I’ll call it Filipino Spaghetti. I’d sure like to have some.
Chicken Parmesan

Love chicken wings paired with rice and some cucumber and tomato as sides. Nom!
Despite the not-so sharp photos, the food still looked delicious. And she said they all enjoyed what they ordered. And if you noticed, they are seafood lovers like us, too.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!
I am so glad you had a good time with your sister, this is amazing…I miss going to brunches, I used to go almost weekly…Brunch is the best…
It’s so nice to have a chance to reconnect with family and just be together. ESPECIALLY when the food is that good!
I’m a brunch kind of girl and all this food looks so good. I love to sit and enjoy with the gals.
Wow what an awesome list of sea foods. Would love to have them any day of the week.
Your food looked really good – I don’t normally go for a salad but that was a fantastic looking salad.
Looks like you had a lovely brunch! Spending quality time with your sister, especially over a delicious spread, is such a joy. Your photos really capture the warmth of the moment.
What a fun way to share with each other. The spot they stopped looks fantastic, I’d eat there!
