On Monday, I talked about the historic retreat that we stayed in at the nation’s capital. Today, I’m going to share all the goodies that we enjoyed in that hotel.
As you know, hotel food are usually expensive and Washington Hilton is no exception. This hotel has a bar and restaurant. Good thing, they also have a café and market where more affordable options are served and sold on the go. They have pastries, fruits, protein bars and coffee just to name a few.
Nachos
This was what I had for dinner the night that we arrived. The hubs grabbed it from the hotel’s bar. He ate his favorite chicken wings at the bar, but I decided to stay in the room. I was too tired from the trip to go down. Hubby always has more energy than me. He had him a shot of something, too, if I’m not mistaken.
This was a huge serving and my tummy definitely didn’t have the room for all of it. So unfortunately, I had to throw out the rest of those delicious nachos the following day.
Greek Yogurt Parfait
I always enjoy a good breakfast and this Greek yogurt parfait hit the spot. I always have Greek yogurt for breakfast at home and this parfait was the thing that appealed to me from all the food they had at their café and market.
Look at all the goodies in it. It was so good!
Seasonal Fruit Cup
I had this fruit cup the following morning.
Country Ham and White Cheddar Croissant
And the hubs had this. I love croissant so I made sure to have a bite of this, too.
Also grabbed a protein bar that morning at the café and market before my appointment. I was a little anxious about my appointment and it was all that I wanted to eat.
There you go…all the goodies that we ate at the hotel in D.C.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!

All that food looks so good! I would stay at the hotel JUST for the food.

I mean, that food is enough to make me choose that hotel. It all looks really good.
