Goodbye, January! Hello, February! January usually drags but it flew for me this year. How was it for you? And it was such a cold January. We had two arctic blasts and even got some snow. It was considered a historic snowstorm in the Southeast, actually. Surprisingly, February is starting warm with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s this week. Wish it would stay that way for the whole month until spring arrives! Knock on wood!
Anyhoo, a month has ended which means it’s another recap here on the blog. Check on what you might have missed on today’s January recap.
Washington, D.C. Trip

All Things Fun for the New Year
New year means new beginnings, but I do like to look back on the year that was so, I shared our highlights for 2024. Couldn’t be more grateful and thankful for all the fun and excitement that 2024 brought us.
Shared my goals for the year and I will do my best to continue on keeping those goals.
My sister had a fun way of welcoming the new year and I talked about it here, too.
Also shared the movies that I had the opportunity to watch the screenings of. It was a drama and a thriller which I both enjoyed watching. Have you watched any of those films yet?

That’s a wrap for my January recap!
How was your January? Here’s to a great February!
My January was pretty great! We didn’t do a lot, but it was peaceful, and we were happy.
My January felt so long and yet so short at the same time. It’s crazy how much can happen when you don’t even realize it.
January was super cold although it’s not warmed up at all here. it also seemed to go on forever. I’m looking forward to the warmer months getting here.
So many struggles happened in January, but I hope February will be good for me.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to DC. We used to go when my son was stationed near there.
I always like looking back at the start of your year. I look forward to seeing how you do with your goals.
January definitely flew by and that historic snow storm was something else. Can’t wait to hear the recap from your DC trip.
I feel like January went by SO fast, then again it always feels like that. Ironically enough I passed through DC as well a month or so ago, there is definitely a lot there. Thanks for the recap!
January flew by fast. It’s always nice to reflect on the little moments that made the month meaningful.
January has just breezed by and yes glad February is warmer as we had a week of snow too. Recap posts are fun as it reminds us what we did
The Washingont D.C. trip sounds fantastic. You really lived at full speed last month.
I will have to read more about your adventures in DC. We are planning on traveling there sometime this spring.
The trip to Washington DC sounds like it was a fun one, love to get away when I can too.
