Happy first Monday of March!
February went by in a flash. Glad it did because it was the coldest February that I’ve encountered since coming here to the U.S. For the first time too since my son started schooling here, they only had one day of school on the third week because of the weather. The third and last week were brutally cold with not only snow but ice too. I am so looking forward to spring now. I know it’s just right in the corner because I already see our daffodils sprouting. Yay!
But before I get carried away even more, let’s look at how our February was here on the blog.
Like I said before, the love month is the most celebrated month in our household because aside from Valentine’s Day, we also celebrate our wedding anniversary and hubby’s birthday.
Celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year is big in my home country, so I talked a little about it too because Chinese is definitely one of my favorite cuisines. How about that Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread that I shared? Have you tried it yet? It’s really good; I couldn’t get enough of it.
And how sweet is the hubs for surprising me with a new toy on our anniversary?! He knows for certain that I am such a sucker for taking photos so he got me a Canon DSLR. Woot! I’ve been practicing and loving my new toy immensely. Who doesn’t, right? 🙂
We love watching television so one Sunday evening, we watched the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special. That was fun! And for the bookworm that the hubby is, there could never be a month, I guess, that he’s not going to talk about his buddy – the book. He talked about Harper Lee, the author of To Kill A Mockingbird – one of his favorite books of all time. He also talked about his favorite comic publisher, Marvel Comics. Don’t we all have our favorite superhero? My favorites are Iron Man, Thor and Wolverine. Gotta love those hunks!
And finally, and last but not the least, we made the BIG move! The move from Blogger to WordPress. WordPress is now our new home and it is making me so giddy with excitement. It feels like having a new house actually. I so heart February!

I moved from Blogger to WP in my first year of blogging and never looked back. That was 4.5 years ago….

February was a short but eventful month it seems! I’m glad to hear that the transition from Blogger to WP went smoothly for you.
I’m so glad that it went smoothly too. I was anxious because I’ve read about problems that some had encountered with moving.
I’m still on blogger myself. I know the big move will happen eventually but it’s a little scary to think about now.
My February was pretty good. I got 2 great opportunities with Verizon and HP. And we had a lot of fun in the snow and a great Valentine’s Day party.

We are in desperate need of a DSLR camera, the plan had been to get one with tax refunds, but real life laughed at that idea. Now we are just saving a bit at a time for it.
