Some days are just busier than the others. Some days are just more relaxed than the others. And some days are just more exciting than the others. It’s getting colder here in our neck of the woods now so more hibernation is on the horizon, but it doesn’t mean less excitement since cozying up with a mug of hot chocolate in hand while watching a movie, or better yet a Christmas movie with the family, is definitely a great time to bond and spend quality time together.
But I must say, we did enjoy the outdoors before it got cold and, today, I’m sharing one fine fall day in the life of Lynndee where I not only enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage, but exploring the aisles of the supermarket as well. Oh, with my bodyguard in tow of course. Guess who? 🙂
6:30 AM: Alarm went off. Got up and cooked breakfast for our kiddo. But that was after I turned the TV on to listen to the local news.
7:00 AM: Woke our son up so he could eat his breakfast and prepare himself for school. While he was doing that, I checked my social media channels as well as e-mails while listening and watching Good Morning America. Multi-tasking at its finest.
7:30 AM: Left home to take our son to school.
8:00 AM: Already home from taking our son to school and by now I am already in front of my laptop checking e-mails, social media channels and the blog.
8:30 AM: Edited pictures then wrote a blog post afterwards. Once I was done, I asked my husband to check it for me. We edit each other’s posts. Two heads are always better then one, right?
9:30 AM: While the hubs was busy with the blog post, I then grabbed a bite to eat. It’s usually my favorite steel cut oats with milk and sugar.
11:00 AM: Prepared to go to the supermarket.
12:00 NOON: Enjoyed the aisles of the supermarket with the hubs. It’s one of our bonding moments.
2:30 PM: Went to the lake which is on the way home from the supermarket to our house. Spent quite a little time there enjoying the tranquility as well as the beauty of the colorful leaves. We got to see geese too which like us were enjoying the lake.
3:00 PM: Home then put the groceries up.
3:30 PM: Left for school to pick our son up.
4:00 PM: Grabbed a snack while checking my e-mails again and social media channels.
5:00 PM: Started to cook dinner.
6:00 PM: Dinner time.
6:30 PM: Time to watch the evening news… ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
7:00 PM: Movie time with the hubs.
9:00 PM: Bed time. Yes, even though it’s a Friday and there’s no school the following day, I still go to bed at 9:00. As they say, this is how early old people go to bed. LOL. So I am old. Anyone else who goes to bed at 9:00 o’clock?
So there’s one exciting day and quite a busy day in the life of Lynndee, but one productive day for sure.

Wow you have a busy day. There is really something about the colours that come out in autumn that are absolutely beautiful aren’t they.

Those beautiful colors are one of the reasons why I love autumn. 🙂
Such a busy day for you and even if you are busy person you are able to manage your time for everything for work and mos especially for your family.
Thank you, Gervin. I try to balance everything. 🙂
Sounds like a very busy day. It doesn’t even seem like fall around here anymore. It’s like we jumped to winter already. It’s been in the low teens here if not cooler and we have snow already!
What a busy day!
Great picture by the lake! That bench sitting right next to the lake looks so peaceful and calm. Like something from a movie.
Great post

That seems like a good day. It looks like you had a lot of freedom to wander and to go to bed early!
That’s nice you had a chance to relax during a busy day. I don’t really have time to savor the fall foliage or take time to de-stress during the day. The leaves change so quickly and it’s nice to be able to enjoy it.
