The sun is out today but we’ve had so much rain lately other than the fact that we were also hit by an Arctic Blast for three days. But I’m not at all complaining because spring is definitely coming. I can smell it just by looking at the weather forecast in my app for this week and next week and so on, and so forth. Yeah!
Anyhoo, time for another Currently post. I had my first Currently post in January while the Hubs had one in February. It kind of looks like we’re going to do this alternately although we didn’t plan it to be that way. Just totally depends on what’s on our minds and the latest happenings around here. So here you go!
Listening…
To… Love Wins by Carrie Underwood.
Country Music is my jam and I always watch CMT’s Top 20 Countdown on the weekends. This week’s Number 1 is Carrie’s Love Wins. This song doesn’t only have a beautiful melody to it, the lyrics are powerful too. Have you listened to it?
Watching…
Tidying Up with Marie Kondo on Netflix.
I’ve read so much about Marie Kondo online. Since I also don’t like clutter and love all things organized, I’m curious about her way of tidying up things so I checked her show on Netflix and I learned a new thing on how to fold shirts. I followed it and what a joy to see my dresser tidied up. I can now see all the shirts without having to dig. Have you watched her show?
Eating…
Cookies & Creme cupcake.
One thing that my son and I have in common is having a sweet tooth. And we both love the cookies & creme flavor. Whether it’d be for ice cream, cake or cupcake. Bought a bunch of these cupcakes at the store and they were really good.
Drinking…
Almond milk.
I don’t know why it took me so long to try this milk. We’ve just always had whole milk in the house. Then I see all these recipes using almond milk instead of whole milk. I finally decided to give it a try. I add it to my coffee or oats in the morning and just drink it as it is in the afternoon with my snack. It’s really delicious and I’m loving it.
Anticipating…
My unico hijo’s (only son) birthday.
March is his birth month and it’s hard to believe he’s turning 16. It sure doesn’t feel like it has been that long since I gave birth to him. I still vividly remember that late afternoon when I saw him for the first time after giving birth to him through a normal delivery with no epidural. I can still remember the pain, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
How about you? Any ‘Currently events in your life you want to share?

I’ve been drinking almond milk for a while now and I love it. I haven’t heard Carrie’s song so I need to check it out. And I will be so glad when it stops raining.

OK now I totally want to try that cupcake it sounds amazing! I have to admit I’ve tried almond milk but I haven’t had any for a while, I need to buy me some!
Marie Kondo inspired the huge bags of donations that we just dropped off at Goodwill this past weekend! I am so inspired to tamp down our possessions and feel joyful and free of unnecessary clutter!
We have a lot in common! We have very similar tastes (especially in shows and music!)
That’s great to know, Heather. High-five! 🙂
I haven’t been able to develop a taste for almond milk. I see so many people drinking it and loving it though.
I enjoyed Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, I read her book a few years ago and found it really helpful. It really is amazing how fast kids grow up. I hope your son has a great birthday month!
Thank you, Beth.
I love that song by Carrie Underwood as well. I don’t deal with pain very well so kudos to you for not having epidural sis.
